National Sports Day, which is celebrated on August 29th, honours the value of sports and physical activity in society. Sneha Jain, a successful actress and ardent sports fan, discusses the deep effects of athletics. She thinks that the lessons discovered on the playing field apply to every facet of life.
Reflecting on her path, Jain says, “I think it’s very important to promote sports everywhere because personally, my experience has been in sports, and it helps in your personal life. Having discipline in your life and a sportsmanlike spirit is beneficial. If you lose, you feel awful and cry, but you also realise that you need to put in more effort. Sportsmanship is crucial in life, not just in sports-related matters; if we falter in our personal lives or certain things don’t go our way, we risk rejection. That encourages you to stop by and give it another shot.”
The similarities between sports and the difficulties of life are obvious to Sneha Jain. It is inevitable for an actor in a cutthroat field to experience rejection and difficulties. Her professional trajectory continues to be heavily influenced by the lessons she learned about overcoming obstacles, pushing herself to achieve her goals, and keeping an optimistic outlook.
Actress Sneha Jain gets candid:
The actress confesses, “And I think it’s very important to promote physical activity, physical strength, mental strength, to be healthy inside-out. Because in a difficult life, it’s crucial. Additionally, when you’re engaged in activities, happy hormones are released, making you feel good and confident. Therefore, I believe it’s crucial to incorporate such activities into a daily schedule in order to maintain good health, optimism, energy, and a constant state of alertness.”
Sneha Jain thinks that cooperation between governments, schools, and organisations is essential for fostering a culture of sports and fitness that endures beyond National Sports Day in the area of education and beyond.
She suggests, “Government schools, organisations, they’re doing amazing. People representing our nation come from all backgrounds. No gender disparity exists. With athletics and everything else, I believe we are evolving amazingly. The younger generation will be affected significantly by this change, which will instil important values like gender equality, perseverance, and hard work.”
As someone who once excelled in Taekwondo, Sneha has a particular place in her heart for her favourite sport. Because I used to play it, Taekwondo is my favourite sport, she says. “I participated in interschool tournaments and earned a silver medal at the district level. I had to leave it though for a couple of reasons. But I believe that if the circumstances were different, I would still be pursuing it now. I truly want to start over because I believe I can succeed in Taekwondo and acting. My dream is to earn a black belt.”
