After a devastating stretch of pace bowling helped India win the 2023 Asia Cup, cricketer Mohammed Siraj rose to the top of the ODI bowling rankings. Prior to the Cricket World Cup 2023, the fast bowler received a tonne of plaudits for his performance in which he utterly destroyed Sri Lanka by taking six wickets.
The legendary AB De Villiers of South Africa, who played alongside Siraj for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the Indian Premier League, has nothing but admiration for the speedster. De Villiers outlined Siraj’s key strengths and predicted that he would go further in the future.
He stated, “His mindset, which we’ve discussed before in this series, is what I believe makes him stand out. If you never give up, your attitude might really inspire you. Additionally, if you persevere and have a positive attitude around your coworkers, they will want you to stay. You start doing some fantastic and unique things on the pitch because the fans want you there. Additionally, one of their players is Mohammad Siraj.”
De Villiers on cricketer Mohammed Siraj:
According to De Villiers’ statement on his YouTube page, “He simply keeps returning, always. He’s always in your face, as I’ve already stated. The bowlers who never gave up are the ones who are appreciated the most. They would constantly engage in physical competition for each and every ball. Siraj performs that.”
