In 1985, on February 5th, Ronaldo was born. José Dinis Aveiro and Maria Dolores dos Santos Viveiros da Aveiro were his parents. While his father worked as a municipal gardener and a part-time kit man for a local football team, his mother put in long hours as a chef and a cleaner to provide for their children and family. When the football player’s father, unfortunately, passed away in 2005 from a liver condition brought on by alcoholism, he was just 20 years old. Ronaldo was the fourth child born into a family of four. Hugo is his older brother, and Elma and Liliana are his two older sisters.

When Ronaldo was little, his nicknames weren’t the cutest. He had the nicknames “crybaby” and “little bee,” which were both used frequently. He was often angry when things didn’t go his way, earning him the nickname “crybaby.” When other kids fought on the pitch, Ronaldo preferred to cry as a form of conflict resolution. If he passed the ball and his friends didn’t score, he would start to cry. He was also referred to as a little bee because of how agile he was when playing football. Even now, few players could equal his talent and pace when he has the ball.

Ronaldo was diagnosed with tachycardia at the age of 15, a condition that causes the heart to pulse quickly even when at rest. The illness might have forced him to give up football, but happily, it was identified and treated at an early stage. Additionally, a laser was used to cauterise the troublesome area of his heart during the operation. After the procedure, he was released the next day. Ronaldo went back to the gym only a few days afterwards.

Sporting Lisbon declared that the top goal scorer will be allowed into their academy when they visited Ronaldo’s young team. Albert Fantrau, a teammate of Ronaldo’s, also scored a goal, giving their group a 2-0 advantage. For the third and final goal, Albert eluded the keeper but passed the ball to Ronaldo, who then scored. Ronaldo was admitted into the academy. Alfred stated that he was certain Ronaldo was a better player than himself when Albert questioned him about why he passed up the chance to score. Ronaldo never forgot his friend’s generosity to him. Albert doesn’t have a job, yet he and his family live in a luxurious home and enjoy a high standard of living. Ronaldo looks after him, and they continue to be good friends.

Ronaldo has excellent aerial ability. When the ball enters the box from a cross, he typically soars above everyone and causes complete chaos, either by scoring with a powerful header or drawing multiple defenders. He is powerful and has a remarkable vertical leap. With a starting run-up, the forward can rise astonishingly to 78 cm (30.7 inches) off the ground. This is 7 CMs higher than the typical NBA player, which is significant given how crucial a vertical leap is in basketball.

2013 saw the opening of a Ronaldo-themed museum in Funchal, Madeira. The museum Museu CR7 is home to more than 150 of Ronaldo’s awards throughout his career. The museum is a proud sponsor of Unio da Madeira, the player’s local football team. Thanks to Ronaldo and the Pestana Group’s cooperation, a hotel was built above the museum.

In front of the museum is a bronze statue of Cristiano Ronaldo made by the Madeira-based sculptor Ricardo Velosa. Another museum, Museo de Cera, has a life-size waxwork reproduction of the player on exhibit. Real Indian hair was used in the artwork, and Ronaldo sends a hairdresser to brush the model’s hair.

In 2009, Real Madrid announced that it had purchased a 100 million euro insurance policy to cover Cristiano Ronaldo’s legs. Since Ronaldo often donates blood, he doesn’t have any tattoos since he doesn’t want to have to wait a long time after getting tattooed. Additionally, he has registered to give bone marrow.

In 2016, Ronaldo and Nike agreed to a $1 billion lifetime endorsement deal. He holds the third-lifetime contract, behind LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Ronaldo’s social media participation that year resulted in 329 posts that were worth $474 million to Nike.
