Zainab Abbas, a Pakistani sports broadcaster, reportedly left India because of a “disputed case.” This unfortunate incident occurred after Indian lawyer Vineet Jindal filed a legal case against Zainab, citing a number of earlier tweets that reappeared on the social networking platform ‘X’ formerly known as Twitter, according to a local media outlet. It is claimed that the content of these posts has an “anti-Hindu” tone.
Jindal claims that Zainab’s currently active X account, “ZAbbas Official,” which was earlier known as “Zainablovesrk,” is where the purportedly anti-Hindu tweets were first made. Vineet forwarded Zainab a copy of the lawsuit that had been brought against her for using anti-Hindu and anti-Bharat insults. The lawyer also asked that her name be removed from the Indian Cricket Board’s and the top cricket council’s list of speakers for the current big cricket tournament.
Zainab Abbas controversy:
According to Vineet’s post with the following description on Twitter, the complaint was also noted there. He said, “Complaint against @ZAbbasOfficial filed by Advocate & Social Activist @vineetJindal19 with cyber cell Delhi Police. Requesting to lodge FIR under section 153A,295,506,121 IPC and sec67 IT Act for making derogatory remarks for Hindu faith and beliefs and for anti-Bharat statements. Zainab must be removed from the list of presenters on an immediate basis from the World Cup. Anti-Bharat people are not welcome in Bharat. @HMOIndia @ianuragthakur @JayShah #CricketWorldCup #icccricketworldcup2023 #Pakistan #Hindus #Bharat #WorldCup2023 #ArrestZainab.”
Before departing for India, Zainab expressed her excitement for the upcoming six weeks. Despite the two countries’ different religious perspectives, she wrote about discovering Indian culture. She wrote on X:
“There was always intrigue on what lies on the other side, more cultural similarities than differences, rivals on the field but camaraderie off the field, the same language & love for art & a country with a billion people, here to represent, to create content & bring in expertise from the best in the business. Humbled to be presenting in India at the Cricket WC2023 for theApex Council again, a journey away from home of 6 weeks starts now.”

She deserves it. You can't get away with insulting India and then shamelessly staying here to earn money lol. Well done, Star Sports.
