Prithvi Shaw recently injured his knee while playing for Northamptonshire in the One-Day Cup, and he has now landed at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for further rehabilitation. He recently published an Instagram story in which Shaw can be seen meeting with Rishabh Pant at the NCA.
Pant is also at the NCA, where he is recovering from the injuries he had in the December 2022 car accident. The star opener captioned the image, “So good to see him after such a long time @rishabpant.” When they saw this, followers went nuts and expressed their thoughts on social media. Pant is currently undergoing rigorous training sessions in order to improve his fitness.
In the IPL, Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant both play for the Delhi Capitals. Pant did not play in the previous edition, and Shaw had a terrible season. In eight games, he scored 106 runs. Shaw, on the other hand, scored 429 runs in four One-Day Cup games, including 244 against Somerset and an unbeaten 125 against Durham. Regarding Shaw’s exclusion from the competition, Northamptonshire head coach John Sadler stated that the youthful opener made a significant effect on the team during his brief time and was glad for the opportunity.

Rishab stated, “Prithvi has made a huge impact on us as a club in his short stint. It’s a shame he won’t be with us for the rest of the competition. He is a really humble young man. He is really polite and happy for the opportunity to represent Northamptonshire. In addition to his on-field performances, he had a significant impact in our locker room. Nobody wanted to win more games than him, and he helped us do so. We wish him the best of luck and hope to see him score again soon.”
On Wednesday, September 6, Prithvi Shaw reconnected with his regular Delhi Capitals (DC) captain, Rishabh Pant, at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. The pair posed for a photo to commemorate their reunion. Shaw was dressed in a red T-shirt and blue pants in the photo, while Pant was dressed in a white Tee and colourful shorts.
