Team India made dreams come true after registering a glorious win in IND vs NZ semifinal 1. And just after registering a glorious triumph India’s dressing room was filled with laughter, joy & happiness. Right from R Ashwin kissing Mohammed Shami’s hand to Chahal making a surprise visit to meet team India’s heroes, emotions were high in India’s dressing room after India’s spectacular win over New Zealand in the semifinals at the Wankhede stadium.
Head Coach Rahul Dravid smiled while greeting players after their triumph. He was also seen embracing Kuldeep Yadav & Shubman Gill. While Batting coach Vikram Rathour hugged star batter Virat Kohli who broke Tendulkar’s record of most tons in ODIs with a stellar knock of 117 runs. Shami was seen sharing a laugh with India’s star bowler Shami who returned with seven wickets & won the Man of the Match award. Ashwin shook and then kissed Shami’s hand as a gesture of appreciation for Shami’s 7-wicket haul in the semis. In reply to Ashwin’s gesture, Shami said ‘jawab deke aaya hun mai’.

Shami signed some bats & to much of everyone’s surprise India’s prolific wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal made a special visit to meet team India players. He embraced Virat Kohli, pacer Jasprit Bumrah, and Ishan Kishan warmly. Kohli shared a few words with his former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate
India registered a massive 70 runs win over New Zealand
Coming to the fixture, India opted to bat first & scored 397-4 in the allotted 50 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma scored 47 runs in 29 balls in an innings braced with four fours & four sixes. Shubman played a stellar knock of 80 runs in 66 balls before getting retired hurt due to cramps. But the duo managed to post a 71-run stand for team India.
In reply, New Zealand Captain, Kane Williamson & Darly Mitchell stitched a stunning stand to pull the Kiwis back into the game. But Shami’s seven-wicket haul left the Black Caps toothless & wrapped their innings at just 327 runs helping India to register a stunning 70-run win. Now India will face Australia in the finals of the ODI World Cup 2023 to be played at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday.
