During his time as the captain of the Indian cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Team India won two World Cups. The most expensive cricket bat ever sold, MS Dhoni’s world cup-winning bat was included in the Guinness Book of World Records. The bat was identical to those Dhoni had previously used, yet it was auctioned off for Rs 83 lakh.
According to a report by MensXP, MS Dhoni’s cricket bat from the 2011 World Cup was offered for auction as part of the ‘East Meets West’ charity event and sold to RK Global Share and Securities LTD for more than 100,000 pounds (Rs 83 lakh).
Throughout his well-acclaimed cricket career, MS Dhoni has broken numerous records, but it is important to remember that he initially had difficulty finding even one bat sponsor. Reebok has agreed to sponsor the bat that cost the most money in the world. Since his retirement from international cricket, MS Dhoni has exclusively represented the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
