Cricketer Rishab Pant, India’s wicketkeeper batter, has recently been training at the gym. He was on bed rest for the first few months after the injury, which caused him to gain weight. In addition, he couldn’t work out until lately after being on bed rest due to various injuries. Meanwhile, Pant has begun his gym practice, and the most recent footage of it has gone viral.
The left-hander was shown doing lightning running in the video. Notably, his right leg has been strapped due to two injuries in the same knee received in the accident. For the uninitiated, the former India U19 captain paid a visit to the Indian team in Bengaluru ahead of the upcoming Asia Cup 2023.
Meanwhile, the Delhi player is scheduled to rejoin the squad ahead of the five-match Test series against England at home. He was left out of the Asia Cup 2023 squad and will miss the home ODI World Cup later this year. Notably, the Delhi Capitals player will face England, against whom he has three Test centuries between 2018 and 2022.

It will be interesting to see how he does after a forced year off. This year, the Haridwar-born player has missed several significant competitions, including the IPL 2023, the World Test Championship final 2023, and the Asia Cup. Pant will also be unable to compete in the ODI World Cup, which begins in India on October 5.
In his absence, Ishan Kishan has shone with some magnificent bat performances in recent months. The southpaw was named Player of the Series after scoring the most runs in the recent three-match ODI series against the West Indies.
Kishan hit three home runs in three innings, averaging 61.33 runs per inning and striking out 111.51 times. Furthermore, he displayed excellent poise while batting under duress in India’s opening match of the Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan.
The 25-year-old batted brilliantly, scoring 82 (81) with nine fours and two sixes. Kishan and Hardik Pandya (87 off 90) put on an important 138-run partnership that got India out of danger after they were 66/4. Kishan has swept away India’s wicketkeeping conundrums with his outstanding form while KL Rahul is still healing from his injury.
