“Watching MS Dhoni walk out to bat in Chennai is one of the silliest things to behold. He is like a God figure. He exudes a genuinely pleasant disposition. It’s quite awesome that I shared the pitch with him; he seems like a really kind guy.” According to Green, as reported by The Cricket Lounge.
It wouldn’t be inaccurate to claim that Dhoni has one of the largest fan bases worldwide. Even if the game isn’t being played on Dhoni’s home field, the stadium will still be packed with his supporters. As a longtime member of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Dhoni is well-acclaimed in Chennai.
He just assisted CSK in winning their fifth IPL championship and assured the supporters that he would return for the following campaign. In August 2020, Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket. He is currently on vacation in the USA and has been spotted in several locations across the nation.
Speaking of Green, he will be the most important member of the Australian team at the 2019 ODI World Cup because of his versatility with the bat and the ball. For the unversed, He has been out of international cricket since August 2020. In the last three years, the wicketkeeper batter has only played in IPL seasons. During this period, his Chennai Super Kings either won the title (2021 and 2023) or finished second to last in the points table (2020 and 2022).
