Valiant Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan recently shared his feelings on Instagram as he and his son Zoravar celebrated Zoravar’s birthday. The touching letter expressed a need for companionship and a father’s unwavering love even after they were physically apart. Now, Akshay Kumar has reacted to Shikhar Dhawan’s Insta post.
Dhawan paused his hectic and demanding cricket career to share the feelings that had been building up after he and his son had not seen each other for more than a year. The difficulties encountered and the emotional toll they took prepared the audience for an incredibly moving story.
Dhawan expressed how deeply his feelings were captured in a single screenshot that he shared. Dhawan, grinning from a distance, and Zoravar, with his hands in his hoodie pockets, said more than words about the unspoken bond between father and son.
Shikhar Dhawan’s Insta post:
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar reacted to Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s heartbreaking post by encouraging him to persevere through these trying times. As a father, Akshay Kumar claimed to understand Dhawan’s emotions at the moment and made an effort to comfort him.
Dhawan’s remarks mirrored a father’s longing for their child to be with them. Sharing a screenshot of his video call with his son Zoravar, Shikar Dhawan wrote on Instagram, “It’s been a year since I saw you in person, and now, for almost three months, I’ve been blocked from everywhere so posting the same picture to wish you, my boy, a very Happy Birthday.”
Shikhar’s heartwarming love for son:
In the photo, Shikhar Dhawan is seen grinning, and Zoravar is seen standing with his hands in his hoodie pockets. He said, “I can communicate with you through Telepathy even if I am unable to speak with you face-to-face. I know you’re doing fantastic and developing nicely, which is why I am so proud of you. Papa loves and misses you always. By God’s grace, he never lets me down and waits patiently for the day when we will cross paths again. Be mischievous but not destructive, generous, modest, patient, and strong.”
He ended his post by saying, “Even though I don’t see you in person, I still write to you almost daily to ask about how you’re doing and to share updates about my life. Hugs and kisses, Zora. Papa.”
In 2012, Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha Mukherjee tied the knot, and in 2014, their son Zoravar was born. Cricket player Shikhar Dhawan and his divorced wife Aesha Mukerji were granted a divorce on October 4 by a Delhi court, citing mental abuse. Despite ruling that Dhawan suffered psychologically from being separated from his son Zoravar for an extended period of time, the court denied permanent custody of their child.
Instead, it allowed Dhawan to have predetermined time slots with his son Zoravar and allowed them to communicate with each other via video chats. Dhawan recently wrote a moving post for his son that has won over a lot of hearts.
