Odyssey Jones has been fired from WWE after domestic violence allegations surfaced against him. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Jones was taken off WWE TV after the allegations against him surfaced. “We have not heard of an arrest or charges being pressed in relation to the situation. We have reached out to WWE for comment as well as clarification on their situation. Talent had not been informed of the situation,” wrote Sean Ross on X.
Jones didn’t appear on Raw for the last two weeks
Odyssey debuted for The New Day just a few weeks ago, where he assisted the team against The New Testament. However, he has not been seen in the last two episodes of Monday Night Raw. He did not appear on the August 23 and September 3 episodes of the Red Brand. His absence was also not acknowledged by the company on TV. Renowned wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer gave an update on Wrestling Observer Radio and said that even though the company has not released any statement about him yet, it is almost certain that he is gone.
“I’ve heard a bunch of stories, but nothing that I would say is confirmed, but it looks like he is no longer with the company,” said Meltzer. He further stated that Odyssey’s angle is also done, as there is no mention of him on Raw, no update on whether he suffered any injuries or not. Jones is also not visible on the WWE Alumni roster page nor on the WWE RAW superstar page. Also, his removal comes at a crucial time when he was about to get a big push in the company after joining the faction “The New Day.” He could have proved to be a good replacement for Big E, who is out of action due to a neck injury.
Odyssey filled Big E’s place in The New Day
Since Big E’s return to action is almost impossible given the severity of his injury, Odyssey could have been the right choice for his replacement. However, this is not the case anymore. If the allegations against him are proven to be true, Jones will no longer be able to wrestle inside the WWE ring.

Odyssey signed with WWE in 2019 and began with NXT. In 2023, he was drafted to RAW and also took part in the Superstar Spectacle in Hyderabad, losing to Bron Breakker. In the 2024 WWE Draft, he was again drafted to the Red Brand and last month made his debut for The New Day. Just after joining, he was dropped from the company because of the allegations.
