BCB cricket operation manager Shahriar Nafees explained, “Till now we have not received their visa and as a result we could not send them to Sharjah as yet. We are hoping to send them tomorrow if we get the visa which we are expecting to receive soon.”
Despite the setback, the team management had not planned on including Nasum and Nahid in the playing XI for the first ODI. The players are expected to join the squad as soon as their visa issues are resolved.
