Gary Kirsten served the Indian cricket team at the most critical time and yielded the most successful results. Under the mentorship of Kirsten, India won the Commonwealth Bank Series in Australia, emerged as the No. 1 Test team and eventually won the ICC World Cup 2011 after 28 Years. Gary worked closely alongside veteran Indian cricketer and former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni during his tenure. Kirsten groomed emerging cricketers like Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja.
