Mohammed Shami posted on PUMA’s YouTube page, “I enjoy fishing and traveling. I enjoy driving. I enjoy operating a bike and an automobile. But I no longer ride a bike after representing India. What happens if I’m hurt? I ride my bike on the highways, and occasionally I travel to the village to visit my mother. Zameen hi aaya hu zameen. As a driver, I have operated a tractor, bus, and truck. I’ve operated a truck and bus. My classmate from school had a truck at home. I should drive, he said. I was driving on the ground back then. In addition, I ran our tractor into the pond. My dad reprimanded me.”

In the same interview, he disclosed that when his brother approached the top selector during the Uttar Pradesh selection trials to ask why he wasn’t selected, they were taken aback by his response.
“If you can move my chair, the boy will be selected,” my brother was informed. “Agar meri kursi hila sakte ho to ladka select ho jayega, bohot acha hai, warna sorry.” “Forget moving the chair; I can turn it upside down; I have that much power,” was my brother’s response. However, if I have the ability, I should choose not to do it. He was informed that capable individuals are useless in this situation.
After tearing up the form, my brother said that we would no longer be participating in UP cricket after today. Mohammed Shami stated in the interview that, that was his last day in UP cricket.
He continued, “Then, when I was 14 or 15, I relocated to Calcutta. My coach and I had a conversation. I grew adamant that I had to play. I gained a great deal of experience. Three or four years later, I enrolled in Arun Lal Academy. It was a pitch for cement. The run-up area was small. It astonished me. I nevertheless continued to bowl. They then instructed me to have lunch. When they gave me a break and some curry with chickpeas, I was not shocked. I assumed I would also get daal and rice.”
“A club made me an offer when I gained experience, but they didn’t pay. I continued to suffer until one day a club official gave me Rs 25,000.”
