Boxing legend Mike Tyson is one of the most feared men in the combat world. He was the most dangerous fighter during his prime, but surprisingly, there is someone who even Tyson is scared of. “Iron Mike” recently appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast and had a fun conversation with him. While discussing professional wrestling and WWE, Mike Tyson revealed about the superstar from the Attitude Era whom he feared.
This superstar made Tyson scared
Mike Tyson stated that WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is the professional wrestler he feared. “The Hardcore Legend” was known for his toughness and exceptional professional wrestling. The year Tyson made an appearance in WWE was the same year that the infamous match of The Undertaker vs. Mick Foley took place at WWE King of the Ring 1997. While praising Foley, Mike Tyson said, “Goddamn, I’m scared of that guy. This guy experienced death every day of his life. He is jumping off sh**, running into trucks and cars, man. And he is normal. He broke every bone in his body and is a normal guy. I just don’t know Foley doesn’t why Foley doesn’t like himself so much.”
Iron Mike once became a special guest referee in WWE
During the Attitude Era of WWE, Mike made his appearance as a special guest referee for the iconic Shawn Michaels vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin WrestleMania match. During that era, Tyson was in his prime but was banned from boxing for biting Evander Holyfield’s both ears. WWE’s then chairman Vince McMahon took advantage of the situation and offered “Iron Mike” an agreement to appear in WWE.
Tyson debuted on an episode of Monday Night Raw in 1988 and was then made the special guest referee for Shawn Michaels vs. Stone Cold’s WrestleMania 14 match. Three years after this appearance, “Iron Mike” was offered a WrestleMania match by Vince McMahon against one of the top stars of that era, Triple H.

The Game once said in an interview, “We were going to do me vs. Tyson in a boxer vs. wrestler match at WrestleMania X-seven.” Triple H further explained that the plan was canceled after talks between Vince and Mike Tyson as the amount the boxer was asking for was beyond the company’s expectation. The Game then ended up fighting The Undertaker at WrestleMania X-Seven. Triple H stated that his WrestleMania match against The Undertaker ended up becoming one of his favorite matches.
