Jorge Masvidal’s shares his opinion on transgender fighters

The former mixed martial artist Jorge Masvidal recently considered the idea of transgender athletes competing against cisgender women in sports. Like many other MMA fighters, he is unwilling to entertain the idea in the slightest because he doesn’t think it is fair. Reiterating Joe Rogan’s argument on the topic, the “Gamebred” stated that there is a big difference in bone density between the two sexes, which isn’t necessarily changed even after gender change surgery.

Masvidal’s statement in the interview 

Recently, in a chat with Charlie Arnolt on Outkick, Masvidal said, “Over the years of my professional career, 28 years on the mat, I have seen that when men and women compete and run at full speed, what happens. It’s a different kind of strength, it’s a different ligament strength. Testosterone, bone density, like how we can take a hit and give a hit, women, I would never do that”. 

However, Jorge is not opposed to letting female fighters  compete against men if they consider themselves competent . He is also ready to allow transgender people to fight in his promotion only if they fight other transgender people. “Gamebred” stated that he would bankrupt the company rather than let a man fight a woman, unless the women themselves wanted to compete in that class. “It’s like, a trans female fighter, as long as you fight another trans, it’s not a problem,” he said.

Masvidal took a sweep on soccer player Rapinoe  

Megan Rapinoe missed the decisive penalty in the round of 16 game against Sweden at the Women’s Soccer World Cup in Australia, which cost the USWNT an embarrassing exit. While many of the team’s players refused to sing along to the national anthem, The divisive LGBTIQA+ activist faced flak after the team walked out. Jorge took a swipe at Rapinoe while speaking about her controversial stance on patriotism.

He said she needs help , just to hear the other side of the story because America is the    Criticizing Rapinoe’s stance on transgender athletes, Jorge said she is probably someone who either doesn’t understand how real science works or doesn’t care about women’s records; “that’s not fair”
