The Wyatt Sicks made their much-awaited debut in WWE last week on RAW. The new supernatural faction made a big impact by destroying the backstage area and everyone who got in their way. Later, Bo Dallas followed it up with a scathing interview from his other persona, Uncle Howdy. However, recently, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has criticized the faction for taking a careless misstep.
Henry criticized the newly-debuted faction

The thing that upset Mark Henry the most was a photo of the Wyatt Sicks, taken shortly after their debut on RAW, in which the group is seen posing with a fan at Whataburger. Henry criticized the group for the photo on Busted Open. Mark stated that he is disappointed because of the business. The company spends so much money to invest in the product and creatted the Wyatt Sicks, but the members are out there taking pictures with a fan.
“There’s a certain level of professionalism when you play a character or gimmick that you don’t go backward. They went backward,” said Henry.
The world’s strongest man also compared Wyatt Sicks to the Boogeyman and claimed that you would never see him without makeup, not even when walking through the airport. Henry’s solution for the particular scenario for the group is to use a drive-thru. Henry’s co-host agreed with him, claiming that the photo was just as shocking as the Wyatt Sicks’ debut that evening.
Masked characters can’t roam covering their faces 24/7
Henry and Bully Ray never had to deal with this sort of thing in wrestling themselves, as their characters didn’t require makeup or masks. Their characters were also not completely different from their personalities in real life. However, the two did share locker rooms with those guys, like The Undertaker. He is someone who protected his character more than anyone else in the company.

Although many fans would agree with Henry that a group should not just go out and take photos hours after making a stunning debut on television, it is important to think that some wrestlers can’t be in their characters 24/7. Especially characters who had to wear masks will definitely not roam around covering their faces all the time. There is a life beyond television.
