WWE Superstar Logan Paul recently lost his United States title to LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024. “The Maverick” promoted the US title by carrying it everywhere. After losing the championship after 273 days, he recently shared his opinion about life without the title. On his Impaulsive podcast, Logan revealed that he attempted to win and take the championship everywhere. He was attached to it and hopes that the current generation of wrestling fans will always see it as Paul’s prize.
Logan Paul congratulated his opponent, LA Knight, who dethroned him and said, “Congratulations to LA Knight, but man, I saw him posing the picture of him with the belt, my belt, it’s just crazy to see with someone else.”
Paul faced criticism from wrestling fans
Although The Maverick was one of the longest reigning United States Champions in recent years. He did face criticism for his irregular title defenses. In his long title reign, Logan put the title on line just two times and lost it in his third title defense against LA Knight. The 29-year-old won the US title at Crown Jewel last year in Saudi Arabia, which took place on November 4. He defeated Rey Mysterio to win his first ever WWE title. Paul promoted the championship on various social media platforms, but WWE fans began questioning his credibility due to the limited title defenses.
Paul’s first title defense came at Royal Rumble 2024, where he faced Kevin Owens with the US title at stake. However, he didn’t get a real win as he scored a disqualification victory. His second title defense came at the biggest stage, WrestleMania 40, in a triple-threat match against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, where Paul scored the win. After this, Paul did challenge the WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes for a fight at King and Queen of the Ring but didn’t put his championship on stake.
