Well-known internet figures Logan Paul and KSI are in big trouble as the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee has sued them. The Olympics are one of the biggest sporting events that is watched worldwide and definitely has an influence on not only fans but several other variables as well. Financial business is a major part of the Olympic Games so many big companies design their products around the Olympics to attract more customers.
PRIME’s recent collaboration with NBA star brought them trouble
PRIME, an energy drink company co-owned by KSI and Logan Paul, also tried to earn some profits through the Olympics. However, their attempt to attract more customers has not only failed but also put them in big trouble. ‘Team USA Kevin Durant Drink’ and ‘Kevin Durant Olympic Prime Drink’ have become the cause of their trouble and as a result, both Logan KSI are being sued.
The energy drink brand is quite popular worldwide
PRIME was launched in 2022 and has quickly become a popular brand globally. The company has also done big collaborations with social media personalities like MrBeast and IShowSpeed. It made its way to WWE, UFC and FC Barcelona as well. However, their recent collaboration with Basketball star Kevin Durant didn’t go well. Alleging trademark infringement, the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee accused them of using ‘Olympic-related terminology and trademarks on product packaging, advertisements and promotions.’
In the lawsuit filed, the committee also mentioned several failed attempts to reach a mutual conclusion on the dispute. Meanwhile, where their collaboration with Kevin Durant has brought some trouble, “The Maverick” recently discussed his potential return to boxing.
Logan Paul is currently the United States champion in WWE. After attending his brother Jake Paul’s match against Mike Perry, Logan was asked in an interview about the possibility of his return to boxing. Logan stated that he has a good thing going on in WWE currently as he holds the US title there and has no such desire to return to boxing unless a fight excites him. Paul’s last appearance in a professional boxing bout was last year. He fought Dillon Danis at the Manchester Arena in England and scored the win through disqualification. “The Maverick” is currently fully focused on his stint with WWE and is unlikely to return to boxing because he also revealed that his wrestling skills are better than his boxing prowess. It remains to be seen how he and KSI will resolve their PRIME issue.
