The American influencer and wrestler, Logan Paul, has set his sights on the current WWE champion after defeating Dillon Dennis in their highly anticipated boxing match. Paul took to Twitter to send another message to United States Champion Rey Mysterio. The last time the Youtuber was seen in the WWE Ring was SummerSlam 2023, where he won against Ricochet. Paul had been on hiatus since then to prepare for his boxing match against Dillon Danis, which became too personal from both sides on social media.
Paul’s tweet for the WWE Champion
After getting a win over Dennis via disqualification, The Maverick turned his attention to pro wrestling, stating that he planned to win a few championships before calling out Rey Mysterio. The Giant Killer was quick to respond to the social media influencer. Now Paul has confirmed that he will be appearing on SmackDown soon, as he tweeted another message. He wrote “See you soon”.
The megastar has become prominent in the WWE industry
Logan Paul is relatively new to the pro wrestling scene, but he has established himself as one of the most prominent names in the industry. Apart from his great skills and unmatched charisma, Paul is extremely talented inside the ring. With WWE set to visit Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel next month, the company is bound to book its top stars to make it a memorable event. Although the YouTuber has been away since August, he is being advertised locally for shows, which means he will likely appear on the road for the spectacle.
Logan wrestled at Crown Jewel last year
Paul was in action at Crown Jewel last year as well, where he faced Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. Although he couldn’t win the title, the megastar managed to push Reigns to his limits. The two gave an entertaining match to the audience. Since Logan is likely to wrestle at Crown Jewel this year, this could be a perfect opportunity for him to face Rey Mysterio. He will be looking to win his first WWE Championship after falling short against the Tribal Chief.
