Although it was disappointing for Mami, it was beneficial for Morgan’s character, who is on a revenge tour. There was some irony in this, as Morgan also suffered a real-life injury last year when Rhea attacked her.

Liv Morgan lost her shot at taking over Rhea’s vacated title as Becky Lynch won the battle royal, but that doesn’t mean Liv is being pushed to the background. She stands at the front of the line, but even more interesting are the hints at a storyline involving her and Dominic Mysterio. After Ripley gave up her title, “Dirty Dom” and Morgan had an intense altercation, leading fans to wonder if WWE was starting an angle that would see the two work together. The speculations only intensified when the pair were seen leaving the locker room area together. Now, “Queen of Extreme” is in the limelight again, this time on social media.
Morgan posted a photo of herself on X, in which she is seen smiling in front of a semi-trailer that has Rhea Ripley’s face on it. She wrote, “It’s so close I can also taste it.” The interesting part was that Dominick Mysterio liked it. This was followed by the release of a modeling shot of Liv Morgan with a bandanna barely visible sticking out of her pocket. It is the same type of bandanna that Mysterio wears.
Ripley might turn babyface
It looks like the company is really headed towards an affair storyline with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. This would be interesting for everyone involved. The romance between Mami and Dominik has run its course, and if he turns on Ripley, it will make him an even more hated heel and Mami’s role will be changed to a total babyface. This would put Liv Morgan back in the main event spotlight, a spot that would be even better if she defeats Lynch for the women’s world championship. The possibility of a huge SummerSlam title match with Rhea Ripley challenging Liv Morgan and seeing Dominic Mysterio in Liv’s corner will be an interesting sight for the audience.
