In the United States, Lionel Messi is already making an impact. The legendary soccer player from across the world, who is getting ready to sign with Inter Miami of Major League Soccer, worked with Hard Rock on a new menu item on Wednesday. The sandwich, dubbed “Made For You by Leo Messi,” is currently offered at participating Hard Rock Cafés and Hotels.
The Messi Chicken Sandwich uses the Milanese method and has thinly pounded chicken cutlets that are reminiscent of one of Messi’s favourite Argentinian recipes from his childhood. Fresh rockets, tomatoes, herbed aioli and melted provolone cheese are added to the top.
Messi stated, “Wherever I am in the world, one of my childhood favourites still makes me feel at home, therefore I can’t wait for my fans around the world to try it.”

A little flag made of a toothpick and bearing a QR code skewers the sandwich. Customers that scan the code are sent a personalised message from Messi himself. On that website, you can play trivia games, shop online, and more. Check out the ad here.
Messi’s previous partnerships with Hard Rock predate this one. The restaurant chain first introduced its “LIVE GREATNESS” ad in 2022, which featured a Messi Burger. Later, to commemorate Messi’s first victory in a world quadrennial competition, the life of that burger was prolonged.
The professional soccer player announced in June that he would be joining Inter Miami of Major League Soccer. And would no longer be playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
On Sunday in South Florida, the club will officially introduce him. Messi stated, “We are happy with the decision we made,” to the Argentine TV programme, Llave a la Eternidad, after relocating to the United States with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo and their three children, according to ESPN. Ready and willing to take on the new task and the new shift.”
