LA Knight recently revealed his serious fight with a fellow WWE star that happened right before WrestleMania XL and in front of a lot of reporters. Knight was involved in a rivalry with AJ Styles on the road to WrestleMania 40. Before they faced each other in the ring in the Shows of the Shows, the two squared off in a dispute at the press conference of WrestleMania. The brawl got all bloody, with “The Phenomenal One” getting a busted nose.
In an interview, Knight opened about how the fight was totally unplanned and just happened because the two are close to each other.
“It was kind of stupid of them to have us sit next to each other. What did they expect was going to happen? Things blew up, he slammed down, but when we came out of it, he had a bloody nose.”
Knight revealed the details about the unplanned fight
LA Knight also stated that he knew that they were going to fight at some point because they were sitting so close in the room. Knight reacted to Styles throwing a stool in his direction and it was fight time at that point until security stepped in.
“Of all the seats that were placed together, his and my seats were five feet apart from each other. I looked there and I said to myself, ‘There’s a good chance we may have to fight at some point.’ I was just thinking that to myself. At some point, he threw a stool that he was sitting on over in my direction. I was like, ‘Welp, gotta fight him now. That’s pretty much how it goes,’” Knight said.
