Kuldeep Yadav Becomes Fastest to Complete 50 T20I Wickets for India
Kuldeep Yadav has become the fastest bowler to take 50 wickets in T20I for India. He achieved this feat in 30 matches for India, it took him 6 years and 30 days to play 30 matches for India.
Kuldeep made his debut in 2017, since then there has been inconsistency from the management to give him chances on regular basis. In the third T20I against West Indies at Providence, Kuldeep Yadav bowled well and picked up three wickets for 28 runs.

- Syazrul Idrus in 25 matches

Yadav dismissed the opener Brandon King, Johnson Charles and Nicholas Pooran. These wickets came at a crucial stage of the game which helped team India to restrict the West Indies side for 159 runs.
This was a must win game for India because West Indies were leading the 5 match T20I series with 2-0, and another win would have sealed the series for home side. Kuldeep’s spin companion Yuzvendra Chahal didn’t have his best day with the ball as he went for 33 runs in 4 overs without getting a single wicket.
Suryakumar Yadav Goes in 360° Mode
Although previous two low scoring matches went in home side’s favour, this time around, Indian batting line-up did an incredible job in chasing the 160 runs posted by West Indies.
Yashasvi Jaiswal made his debut in T20i but it was only a short lived innings of 1 run. On the other hand, Shubman Gill continues to struggle in away conditions. His last 6 T20I innings scores are: 7, 11, 126, 3, 7, 6.
India’s best T20 batter Suryakumar Yadav was at his best in the third T20 match. Despite losing both openers early on in the innings, Suryakumar Yadav continued to attack and by the 10th over, the match was almost one sided with India needing 64 off 60 balls.
Yadav scored 83 off 44 balls, an innings that saw 10 fours and 4 sixes. Most of them were unorthodox Sky-usque shots, lofted drives over the covers, a six over fine leg and some deft cut shots which have become penchant of Surya’s innings.
Debutant Tilak Varma continued to impress with another impressive innings of 49 runs. At the moment, it looks like he is the guy team India needed. He’s mature, he can hold on to one stand and as well as he can play destructive kind of innings. A simply young match winner.
