On Day 3 of the fifth Test between India & England, some drama unfolded on the field. The series has finally witnessed some intense sledging on the field when Bairstow & Gill engaged in a verbal spat. It all started in the cold Himalayas when Bairstow sledged Gill & got an epic reply in return.

India has scripted history by registering an innings & 64 runs win against England. It is a historic moment for India as they have registered a stunning series win in India. And it’s a matter of humiliation for England who lost the fixture at the hands of India on India.
Ashwin has played his 100th Test & registered another five-wicket haul against England. Earlier in India’s first innings a stunning century from Rohit Sharma & Gill helped India to post 477 runs in the first innings. Later India restricted them from coming close to the total by wrapping their innings at 218-10. Later in the second innings also Bazball team couldn’t display their logic & were sent packing in just 195 runs registering an innings & 64 runs win.
In the batting order, Rohit Sharma (103 runs off 162 balls) & Shubman Gill (110 runs off 150 balls) starred with the bat for India helping India to register a massive 477 runs in the first innings. For England, Joe Root (84 off 128 balls) & Za Crawley (79 off 108 balls) starred with the bat. But their heroics couldn’t guide England towards glory as they suffered by an innings & 64 runs.
R Ashwin starred with the ball by returning with five wickets in both the innings. Kuldeep Yadav too returned with figures of 72-5. Coming to England, Shoaub Bashir starred with the ball by registering a five-fer.
It is a historic moment for India who has registered a series sweep against England on their home ground.
