In 2017, when Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy made their WWE return at WrestleMania 33, it was quite surprising and different. It is definitely one of the best WWE returns in history, as the Hardy Boyz returned to WWE after a gap of almost 8 years. However, “The Legend Thriller” has one regret about his return and it is about his entrance theme, which he feels wasn’t good enough. Jeff doesn’t have any other entrance themes, but TNA has a different version of his entrance theme that he personally likes.
Jeff about his entrance theme
Jeff revealed that he is actually tired of the Hardy Boyz music. The former WWE Champion argued that when he returned to WWE at WrestleMania 33, he had a candid conversation with Chris Jericho after the match where he told “Lionheart” about his tiredness with his entrance theme. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Jeff stated that it was great when they played the Hardy Boyz music, but he likes his TNA entrance theme, which is a slightly slower version of his original. Jeff said that even though he is tired of that version, his fans are not.
“To this day I was looking so forward to like modest hitting and I’ve done this thing with the Hardy Boys music slowing down and then it kicks into ‘Modest’ which is my original TNA theme. I’m kind of tired of that Hardy Boyz music. But people aren’t,” said Jeff Hardy.
Why did Jeff leave WWE on a sour note ?
Jeff Hardy became a big wrestling superstar in WWE, but he left the company on a sour note. In 2022, Jeff suddenly left WWE after he just left the ring in a 3 vs. 3 tag team match. During the show, when Jeff tagged his teammate, he climbed over the railing and disappeared into the crowd. The very next day, WWE terminated his contract and fired him instantly. According to reports, Jeff was asked to go to rehab due to his drug history, but he was not willing to do it.

Moreover, Jeff Hardy stated that he was not given any kind of treatment that a three-time WWE champion should be given. He said that the company just made him a mid-card wrestler and asked him to chase titles like 24/7, which he considered were below his level. In 2022, when WWE offered him an induction into the Hall of Fame, he said no to them. Jeff told them that whenever he is going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, it should be with his brother Matt Hardy as “The Hardy Boyz.” Currently, both Jeff and Matt are signed to TNA and are not thinking of returning to WWE anytime soon.
