Due to injury issues, Bumrah missed the majority of the previous year’s play, yet he claimed that many had suggested his career was ended. Thus, the pacer was happy to have shown them incorrect.

“We found that being under pressure was a nice challenge. We dropped a few early wickets. We needed to make a lot of effort both inside and outside the building. Yes, I’m thrilled with the outcome. Our strategy of fielding first, which we have been doing for a while, worked incredibly well for us. Since I played in the previous series, in which [India chased] as well,” Bumrah stated.
