On Monday, Sanjana gave birth to a baby boy & the couple named him Angad. On Sunday evening, a leading media portal reported that Bumrah will likely miss the IND vs. NEP Asia Cup 2023 fixture as he had to travel back to India for personal reasons. And on Monday, Bumrah himself took to social media to end all speculations & announce the birth of his baby boy Angad with a heart-warming post.
Bumrah took to social media to share the good news of both of their baby boy, Angad. “Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it – Jasprit and Sanjana,”

Jasprit Bumrah is expected to join the Indian team ahead of their Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 stage fixture against Pakistan slated to be played on Sunday, 10th September. Jasprit Bumrah made a comeback in Intenrational Cricket after staying out of action for 11 months due to an injury. He returned back to action from India’s series against Ireland which India won by a 2-0 score. Bumrah played against Pakistan in India’s Asia Cup 2023 fixture at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy on Saturday but didn’t get the chance to bowl as the fixture was washed out without a ball being bowled in the second innings. As a result India and Pakistan both shared 1-1 Points & the fixture ended in no result. Bumrah boasts of a scintillating record in ODIs returning with figures of 121 wickets in 73 ODIs at an average of 24.3 with a best of 6/19.
