Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul has responded harshly to Conor McGregor’s recent comments, labeling him a dweeb, during a press conference with Mike Perry. Paul’s last appearance in the boxing ring was against Ryan Borland in March. Now, “The Problem Child” is set to return against BKFC star Mike Perry on Saturday. Earlier, Jake was set to face Mike Tyson in the highly anticipated boxing bout, but it was postponed after Tyson fell ill.
In the meantime, Paul will face Perry, who is a former UFC fighter and currently a star in Bare Knuckle FC. Perry has notable wins over fighters like Michael Page, Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez.
McGregor criticized Jake and his fight with Tyson
At the BKFC press conference in Marbella, Spain, former UFC champion Conor McGregor expressed his support for Mike Perry and called Paul a dweeb. The Notorious has also been vocal about criticizing Paul’s fight with Tyson, which has raised tensions between the MMA star and the YouTuber.
Paul has now fired back at McGregor and criticized MMA fighters in general at the pre-fight conference with Perry on Thursday. Paul claimed that he is going to embarrass the whole league and stated that Mike has no skill and is just a street fighter who has no idea what sweet science is. “Conor McGregor can say whatever he wants, but he won’t fight me either,” said Paul.
The Problem Child challenged McGregor
Paul challenged McGregor directly and said, “Once I knock out Mike Perry, McGregor let’s do it, but you won’t run it because you know what’s going to happen, you saw what I did to Nate Diaz who I went toe-to-toe with.”
Jake further asked McGregor to stop doing cocaine, get in the gym and start winning fights. Maybe then he can have a conversation with him. The press conference got more heated when Paul lashed out at Perry and called MMA fighters a bunch of P*****. He said that none of the MMA fighters can box and that Perry and McGregor are both b*tches.

The enmity between Jake Paul and the MMA community continues to grow as he gets ready for his upcoming clash against Perry. Jake Paul and Mike Tyson may have exchanged some verbal jabs ahead of their highly anticipated boxing match, but Paul immediately came to the 58-year-old’s defense after McGregor criticized the matchup. The Irishman called the bout a bit strange and suggested that he didn’t understand the appeal. In response to this, Paul addressed the issue on his podcast and pointed out that when McGregor announced his last fight, 1k articles were written in a few days, but 10k articles were written about Paul’s clash with Tyson during the same period.
