Popular YouTuber and social media influencer Jake Paul, who is set to face Mike Tyson in July, recently confronted his friend and fellow boxer Ryan Garcia about Garcia’s recent failed drug tests. The confrontation comes after Ryan tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine. Tests were done a day before and two days after his win over Devin Haney on April 20. “King Ry” has denied knowingly using any performance-enhancing drugs and has made several claims of conspiracy, due to which drug was found in his system.
Paul expressed his disappoint on Facetime call
The Problem Child talked to Garcia about the failed drug test on a Facetime call. Jake expressed his disappointment and told Garcia that if the boxer intentionally took the performance-enhancing drugs, he would be really pissed off. Despite Garcia’s protestations of innocence on social media, insisting he never knowingly took PEDs, Paul pressed him during the live session on Instagram on Friday.

Paul questioned Garcia about his request for a B-sample test during that live session. He also asked how the banned substance could have gotten into his system if he claims he didn’t take any. Garcia maintained his innocence plea and stated that he was framed, but Jake emphasized the seriousness of the situation, saying, “I you did do it, then it’s really f****d up brother.”
Despite the controversy Garcia was seen hanging out in LA
Garcia said that he never felt the need to take PEDs and he even went so far to say he would quit boxing if he ever did. However, the backlash against Garcia has been growing so much that even UFC star Conor McGregor posted a scathing message on social media, which he later deleted. McGregor wrote a big, long paragraph and even stated, “Don’t come near me if I ever see you Ryan Garcia.”

Moreover, Garcia’s attempt to justify the presence of Ostarine in his system through a supplement was rejected by the supplement’s manufacturer. In the midst of all this controversy, Ryan Garcia was spotted enjoying a night out in Las Vegas and seemed unaffected by the results of his failed drug test. With Garcia’s future in boxing hanging up in the air, it is unclear whether he will face a suspension or have his victory overturned to a no-contest. The investigation of the test is still going on.
