Two young skippers of GT and CSK will lead their team at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. The positive thing for both leaders is that their campaigns have started a win. Shubman Gill was terrific with his bowling changes against Mumbai Indians while Ruturaj Gaikwad was under super of seniors CSK players in their first match.
Gujarat Titans are looking a settled side, they have got everything covered in all aspects of the game. Classy top order, stable middle-order and destructive finishers. Bowling, too, looking ominous with everyone playing their roles incredibly well.
For Chennai Super Kings, things are static as is always the case. The match will take place at Chepauk which means that their all three spinners –Ravindra Jadeja, Maheesh Theekshana and Rachin Ravindra– will be in the game.
Early part of the season so the toss won’t matter much to either teams but both GT and CSK will like to start with strong aspects of their game.
