The purchase of Sameer Rizvi Explained
Kasi Viswanathan then went on to explain his decision to invest around 8.4 crore on uncapped player Sameer Rizvi.
Sameer Rizvi caught the attention of multiple franchises, and the team feels fortunate to have successfully acquired him. The decision to bring him on board stemmed from the need to fill the gap left by Ambati Rayudu. With a scarcity of experienced players available for bidding, the team opted for a strategic move by investing in a talented young player.
The emphasis here is not just on Sameer’s selection but on the potential he brings to the team. This move aligns with the team’s broader vision of nurturing emerging talents for sustained success, a philosophy reflected in the past signings of promising players like Shaik Rasheed, Nishant Sindhu, and Rajvardhan Hangargekar. CEO of CSK Viswanathan said about acquiring the services of Sameer Rizvi.
As per the reports, IPL 2024 will begin in the month of march however aby official update & schedule of the league haven’t been released yet.
