Arshdeep Singh, a professional cricket player from India who was born on February 5, 1999, is a member of the national squad. He plays for Punjab in the Indian Premier League and for the Punjab Kings in domestic cricket in India. Arshdeep is a lower-order batsman and left-arm medium-fast bowler.

Early life
In Guna, Madhya Pradesh, Arshdeep Singh was born into a Sikh family to Darshan Singh and Baljit Kaur. As a member of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), his father served for more than 25 years and was stationed at Guna. Later on, the family relocated to Kharar, which is close to Chandigarh. He began playing street cricket with the local youngsters and enrolled in Jaswant Rai’s Chandigarh cricket academy in 2015. Domestic career

Arshdeep participated in the Katoch Shield junior cricket competition. He played for the Indian under-23 team after being a member of the squad that won the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
He participated in the CK Nayudu Trophy in 2018 as a cricket player for Punjab’s under-23 team. He claimed 10 wickets for the game and eight wickets in the second inning while playing against the Rajasthan under-23s. He also claimed a hat-trick in that inning. Arshdeep went on to make his List A debut for Punjab on September 19, 2018, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for 2018–19, and his first-class debut against Vidarbha in the Ranji Trophy for 2019–20 in January 2019.
He was acquired by Kings XI Punjab in the December 2018 Indian Premier League player auction. On April 16, 2019, he made his Twenty20 debut for the team. He was hailed as a future great player and concluded the season as the team’s second-highest wicket-taker.
Arshdeep was included in the Indian team’s November 2019 roster for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh. He was included in the list of five net bowlers for India’s June 2021 visit to Sri Lanka. He was included in India’s starting lineup for their final two Twenty20 International (T20I) games of the tour after testing positive for COVID-19 in the Indian team.
He was included in the Indian Twenty20 International team for their series against South Africa in May 2022, and the following month, he was included in the team for India’s two-match series against Ireland.

He was included in India’s ODI team once more in July 2022, this time for their away series against the West Indies. On July 7, 2022, he played his first Twenty20 international match in Southampton against England. He took the last two England wickets and bowled a rare maiden over in the match.
He was included in India’s squad for the 2022 Asia Cup on August 8, 2022, after taking seven wickets in two Twenty20 International matches against the West Indies.
