IND vs NZ 1st Test Prediction: The much-anticipated three-match Test series between India and New Zealand begins tomorrow (October 16). The first Test is scheduled to take place at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.
The weather might play a spoilsport but both teams have prepared their best to go for the kill. India is in pretty good form and looks all set to qualify for their third consecutive WTC final. They are coming on the back of a 2-0 win in their last Test series against Bangladesh.

Kane Williamson misses the first Test and will be making his comeback from the second game, onwards. In his absence, Will Young could be seen coming in at three. Devon Conway hasn’t been in the best of form but he could score a vital knock of 61 runs in his last Test innings.
The onus will also be on Rachin Ravindra, who is expected to make a significant contribution in the series. New Zealand have a great depth in their batting unit, with the middle order comprising the likes of Phillips, Blundell, Mitchell and Santner.
Tom Latham will be captaining the side. He has one fifty-plus score to his name in his last four innings. In the pace bowling department, the onus will be on Tim Southee and Will O’Rourke. The latter picked eight wickets in two Tests against Sri Lanka.
Ajaz Patel will be the frontline spinner and is expected to make a major contribution on the Indian wickets. He claimed eight wickets in 2 Tests against Sri Lanka.
