Yashasvi Jaiswal played a sensational knock of 209 runs in the second Test match against England. With that, he also became only the fourth left-handed batter from India to score a double-century in Test cricket. India recorded its 32nd win against England in their Test cricket history in 133 matches played, overall. With that, they equalled Australia to win the most number of matches against England in Test cricket.
7. Ashwin has most wickets for India against England in Tests
Ravichandran Ashwin now holds the record for picking the most number of wins against England in Test cricket. He now has 97 wickets against England in Tests, followed by the likes of BC Chandrasekhar (95) and Anil Kumble (92). Ashwin picked 3 wickets in the second Test match against England.
