With astonishing figures of 6-21, Siraj bowled Sri Lanka out for a paltry 50 runs. This exceptional performance paved the way for India’s resounding 10-wicket victory, securing the Asia Cup title for the first time since 2018.
But Siraj’s brilliance didn’t stop there. In an earlier group-stage match against Nepal, he showcased his skill by taking three crucial wickets, contributing to India’s success in the tournament. His overall tally for the month stands at an impressive 11 wickets, achieved at an average of 17.27. With such outstanding numbers, it’s no wonder that Siraj has earned a well-deserved nomination for the ICC Player of the Month award.
