In the latest ICC ODI rankings for all-rounders, Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi has surpassed Shakib Al Hasan to take the number one spot. Nabi claimed the top spot after his splendid 136-run knock against Sri Lanka in the first ODI of the three-match series. Nabi has now 314 rating points, while Shakib Al Hasan slips down one spot to number two.
Notably, Bangladesh’s former captain had held the number-one position for more than five years. He hasn’t played any ODI cricket since the 2023 World Cup and has been ruled out of the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka due to an eye condition.
ICC ODI Bowling Rankings
As far as the ICC ODI bowling ranking is concerned, there hasn’t been any change in the top four with Keshav Maharaj at the top of the ladder. He has 716 rating points, followed by Josh Hazlewood (688) at two and Adam Zampa (686) at three.
Jasprit Bumrah, however, has gained one spot to take the fifth spot. Sri Lanka duo Wanindu Hasaranga gained 14 spots to equal 26th, while Dilshan Madushanka stepped up four places to the 33rd spot.
Babar Azam leads the batting chart with 824 points, followed by Shubman Gill (801) and Virat Kohli (768) in second and third, respectively. Charith Asalanka has jumped five places to take the 15th position, following his unbeaten 97-run knock against Afghanistan. Pathum Nissanka improves 10 spots to 18th after his double century in the series opener.
ICC T20I Latest Rankings
Shakib Al Hasan, though, continues to be the number one T20I all-rounder. Australian all-rounder, Marcus Stoinis has jumped three spots to take the number two spot on the list. Shakib has 256 rating points, while Stoinis has now 217 points under his name.
In the second T20I against West Indies, Marcus Stoinis claimed three wickets for 36 runs in four overs. As far as T20I batting rankings are concerned, Suryakumar Yadav maintains his top spot with 861 rating points, followed by Phil Salt (802) and M Rizwan (800) in second and third position, respectively.
Adil Rashid is currently the number one T20I bowler with 726 rating points. Maheesh Theekshana (679) ascended one spot to claim the second position, while Hasaranga (676) moved to number three.
There is no change as far as the Test rankings are concerned. Kane Williamson is currently the number one Test batter, while Jasprit Bumrah leads the pack in the bowling department.
ICC Women’s Rankings
In the women’s cricket, Star Indian batter, Smriti Mandhana surged to fourth spot in the latest ICC Women’s ODI rankings. England’s Nat Sciver Brunt, Chamari Athapaththu, and Beth Mooney occupy the top three spots in the rankings.
