WWE legend Hulk Hogan has recently revealed that he has signed a five-year deal with WWE. The 71-year-old appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, where he shared details about his new contract and how his role within WWE has evolved from when Vince McMahon was handling everything to now that WWE is led by Triple H and Nick Khan.
Hogan said, “Working with Vince for all that time, and now working with Nick Khan, I signed the deal for the licensing and merchandising stuff, and ambassador stuff, if they need me to do something for WrestleMania. I just love doing it. It’s definitely different.”
WWE has used Hogan in video promos
Hogan said he remains committed to the company but is no longer invited to perform in the ring or at events. The deal allows Hulk Hogan to capitalize on his name and image as well as provide him with opportunities to contribute to future WWE shows such as WrestleMania. It’s unclear if WWE has any intentions to bring him on, but they have used him in recent video promos and seem to have sought his advice on a few occasions.
Hogan stated that he does not get involved in WWE storylines, either his or others, unless he talks to Bruce Prichard or somebody and they ask him a question about the finish or something like that. “I don’t really get involved too much. Just working with two different heads of state, Nick Khan is just strictly business.”
The 71-year-old praised Khan
Hogan further notes that with Khan, the business is cut and dry. He also discussed a recent conversation with Khan where he requested to use old artwork for his Real American Beer brand. Khan immediately approved the request. “He made it really easy on me,” said Hogan.
