FC Heidenheim ended 2023 with a solid 0-1 away win at struggling Mainz thanks to Maurice Multhaup’s first half strike. Borussia Dortmund form analysis
Borussia Dortmund started slowly after the World Cup break, drawing 1-1 away to Augsburg despite taking an early lead through Demirovic. Dortmund then failed to capitalize on Brandt’s opener against Mainz, conceding a late equalizer to draw 1-1 at home. This slow restart raised concerns, but Dortmund responded emphatically with three commanding victories.
