After months of speculations, star India all-rounder, Hardik Pandya and Serbian actress, Natasa Stankovic have finally announced their divorce. This comes after speculations and rumours on social media about the troubled relationship between the two since the start of 2024.
It all started during the Indian Premier League 2024 when the rumours started spreading on social media regarding the couple’s troubled marriage. Hardik Pandya was named the skipper of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. But he had a poor campaign in the entire tournament. Following his poor run in the tournament, his wife Natasa Stankovic faced the wrath of trolling and hatred on social media.
The couple jointly shared a statement on Instagram confirming they are parting ways, four years after their marriage. The joint statement read:
“After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family,”
Pandya was named Vice-captain of the Indian cricket team for the T20I World Cup 2024 tournament. India had a stellar campaign in the tournament and the Rohit Sharma-led side lifted the trophy after defeating South Africa by 7 runs. While cricketers’ wives were seen posting congratulatory messages for the Indian cricket team’s World Cup-winning campaign, many social media users pointed out that neither Natasa attended any game of the Indian cricket team, nor posted any congratulatory message for the Indian cricket team on social media.
A few days back, a Mumbai Indians’ skipper was spotted alone at the wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant which again sparked the rumours of their troubled marriage. The World Cup winning Vice captain’s video also went viral, with him ordering ‘2 tequila’ at the event, and he enjoyed and danced at the function.
Hardik Pandya, Natasa Stankovic Divorce Rumors
Amid divorce speculations, Natasa also faced heat from social media users over the alimony rumours following their divorce that Natasa would take away 70% of his property as the divorce settlement. In May 2024, during an interview, Natasa was asked about the rumours of her divorce from Hardik, to which she replied, “Thank you very much.”
