WWE is without a doubt the most popular wrestling promotion in the world currently. Almost every wrestling star from different promotions dreams of getting a WWE contract. WWE’s brand NXT, which is led by Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, is also thriving and its women’s division is on the rise. At No Mercy, NXT got another big boost with the company’s latest signing. Japanese Megastar Giulia finally made her highly anticipated debut and made her intentions clear after confronting the NXT Women’s champion.
Giulia hinted at being Roxanne’s next challenger
NXT continued the streak of entertaining Premium live events with No Mercy 2024. The event saw some stunning action, but the biggest takeaway from the event was the debut of Giulia, which marked her official arrival in WWE. Roxanne Perez successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Jaida Parker in the match of the night, after which the lights went out during the women’s champion celebration. Then appeared Giulia, making her official debut and walking in the ring to confront Roxanne Perez, hinting that she could be Perez’s next challenger.
The Game posted about the importance of new signing
WWE CEO Triple H took X and posted about the significance of this big signing. “No doubt @giulia0221g is an absolute star with a bright future in @WWE.What a time to be part of #WWENXT’s Women’s division. #NXTNoMercy,” wrote Triple H.
Giulia’s signing with WWE was teased a month ago and now her highly anticipated debut has finally happened. Interestingly, Giulia appeared during the WrestleMania 40 weekend. After finishing her work with Japanese wrestling promotion Marigold, it took only a little time for her to appear on WWE programming. Her arrival is definitely going to cause a stir in the women’s division of WWE.

This Mexican star also to make debut soon
However, Giulia is not the only major signing in WWE. Mexican wrestling star Stephanie Vaquer has also reportedly signed a multi-year contract with WWE and can make her debut anytime soon. Vaquer’s addition in the women’s division will further elevate the brand. Once Vaquer debuts on NXT, fans can expect to witness high-profile matches between her, Giulia and Roxanne Perez.
