The opening of the trailer shows Abhishek Bachchan with an intense expression. This is the tale of a young woman, Saiyami Kher, who is chosen for the Indian women’s cricket team but has her ambitions crushed by an accident. She had to have one of her hands amputated after the accident, which left her crippled. But despite not having an arm, she finds a coach who inspires her to play cricket.
The trailer depicts her experience of being chosen for the national squad and how, just when things were going well for her, a vehicle accident caused her to lose her arm. The core of this story is a training montage in which Bachchan’s character teaches her to use her left hand equally as well. She eventually appears on the pitch for Team India.

About Ghoomer
Karoly Takacs, a right-hand shooter from Hungary, served as the inspiration for Ghoomer’s concept, which was directed by R Balki. After suffering an injury to his right hand, he used his left hand to win two gold Olympic medals. Balki was fascinated by this concept and decided to adapt it into a cricket movie. The 53rd International Film Festival of India was where he told PTI, “I suggested let’s make it a cricket film rather than a shooting film as people will take a lot of time to understand (the sport).”
The sports drama adaptation “Ghoomer,” which stars Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and others, has an outstanding cast. The film, directed by R. Balki, is expected to premiere on August 18.
