Charlotte Flair had a tough time at SummerSlam 2023 as she was in a triple-threat match against Bianca Belair and Asuka. Despite being on the low end, Charlotte managed to defend her WWE Women’s Championship against both opponents, but then IYO SKY cashed in her MITB and became the new champion. However, looking at the current scenario on SmackDown, it looks like Flair will remain on the blue side.
Jax to return for settling the score ?
Now, there are reports that the 39-year-old former WWE star might return to settle her scores with Charlotte Flair, and the returning diva is Nia Jax. During her active tenure with WWE in 2021, Jax faced Flair in a single match. But during the match, it seemed that both fighters were attacking each other hard. This left the fans confused about what was happening in the ring. Later, it was confirmed that two were involved in an actual brawl. The reason behind this was Jax dropping Flair on her head and the subsequent misunderstanding. In the past, too, Jax was involved in controversy after being declared unsafe to work.
Currently both have a good friendship
Jax defeated Flair in the match, but the Nature Girl got her revenge the following week on Raw. Now WWE can use the real-life fight incident to create a rivalry between the two. Considering the reports of Jax returning to the company, pitting her against Flair would be a great way to start her second run. Despite that real brawl inside the ring, Jax and Flair showed maturity by resolving things quickly, and at present, both are very good friends and often work out together. Jax also credited Flair with helping her lose weight.
Jax credited Flair for weight loss
In April 2023, Nia wrote in a tweet that she told Charlotte that she wanted to lose weight, and Flair readily agreed to help her on the weight loss journey. After six months, Jax lost 48 pounds and mentioned that Flair inspires her. After Flair’s loss at SummerSlam 2023, she was seen working out with Jax in the gym. Given how their bond has developed, it will be interesting to see how WWE will build the rivalry in the show when Jax makes a comeback.
