Following his acquittal in a murder trial, former NFL player O.J. Simpson was arrested in 2008. It seemed as though Simpson was simply stating, “Well, it was bound to happen again sometime.”
Unfortunately for O.J., this came after he was found guilty in October 2008 of armed robbery and kidnapping; as a result, he is still in prison, possibly for the rest of his life.

In February 2004, boxing icon Joe Frazier was taken into custody on charges of simple assault and reckless endangerment, allegedly against the 44-year-old mother of one of his boys.
Eddie Guerrero
In November 2001, WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated in Florida.

In September 2001, hockey player Sergei Federov was arrested in Michigan for driving under the influence. His blood alcohol content was 9, a little less than the 10 legal limits set by the state.
Federov appears like a male model with his turtleneck and blue background; I’m not sure which makes me laugh more.
Charles Oakley
Charles Oakley, a former NBA All-Star, was taken into custody in December 2007 after police noticed him driving strangely.
Despite having a blood alcohol content below the legal limit, he was nonetheless charged with a misdemeanor since his impairment prevented him from driving.
Here, he doesn’t appear concerned about it.
Randy Moss
This picture was taken after Randy Moss, an NFL receiver, was arrested for playing for three teams in a single season.
I’m kidding!
When Moss was playing for the Minnesota Vikings in September 2002, he was detained by Minneapolis police for reckless driving and disobedience of a traffic officer. He is accused of crashing his car into a traffic cop.
Based on the photo, it appears that Moss did not open his mouth throughout the police interrogation.
John Daly
If you look up the definition of “disheveled” in the dictionary, you could just come across a photo of PGA golfer John Daly. Daly was taken to jail in October 2008 after collapsing and losing consciousness at a Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Hooters. He was detained for one night.
Lawrence Taylor
Mugshots truly get strange if we start to reach inside the top 20.
NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor was accused of fleeing the scene of an accident in 2009 after he collided with another vehicle and took off. Taylor was detained by Florida police.
When questioned, he allegedly claimed to have hit a railing.
This image is simply bizarre.
Allen Iverson
When former NBA player Allen Iverson turned himself into Philadelphia police in July 2002, he was charged with assault and weapons.
Although the charges were later dismissed, the photo suggests that A.I. wasn’t pleased with the arrest.
Jeremy Green
When Jeremy Green was arrested in July 2010, he worked as an ESPN analyst. Green was detained in Connecticut on suspicion of using child pornography.
He was charged with possession of child pornography, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia by Bristol police, who claimed to have found him in a Southington hotel.
I’m genuinely afraid of this picture and the charges.
Jason Kidd
Jason Kidd, a guard for the Dallas Mavericks, was taken into custody in Arizona in January 2001 and accused of domestic violence. After entering a guilty plea, he was mandated to take anger management classes.
It’s just how he looks when he’s attempting to find a passing channel on the basketball court, so don’t be scared by his eyes.
Tony LaRussa
Tony LaRussa, the manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, appears somewhat agitated in this picture.
When LaRussa was discovered slumped over the steering wheel and stopped in a traffic intersection at midnight in March 2007, Florida police took him into custody and charged him with driving under the influence.
It’s said that when his players make mistakes on the baseball field, LaRussa gives them the same look.
Joba Chamberlain
Joba Chamberlain of the New York Yankees appears in this photo to be a child who has just been told to sit in the corner.
Due to intoxication, Chamberlain was taken into custody in October 2008.
An open bottle of Crown Royal whiskey was found in the passenger seat of the BMW belonging to a state trooper who had stopped the driver for speeding in Nebraska, of all places.
Booker T
WWE wrestler Booker T was taken into custody in 1987 after robbing multiple Wendy’s shops in Houston with guns.
At the time, he worked at Wendy’s.
It’s officially alarming when you get arrested for armed robbery and given a 19-month prison sentence, but you don’t seem to care.
Charles Barkley
I apologize to Chuck; although you didn’t place in the top 10, you certainly came very close.
Charles Barkley, a former NBA player and TNT studio analyst, was detained in Scottsdale, Arizona, in December 2008 on suspicion of driving under the influence.
His blood alcohol content was over double the 2008 legal limit.
This photo shows him looking completely confused; ironically, I assumed it was taken after he learned how much he owed in gaming debts.
Ric Flair
In November 2005, wrestler Ric “The Nature Boy” Flair was taken into custody in North Carolina after he was suspected of stifling another driver after an altercation over speeding.
According to reports, Flair kicked the driver’s car and grabbed him by the throat.
This picture makes me never feel good.
The Big Show
Paul Wight, better known as WWE star The Big Show, was arrested in Memphis in December 1998 on suspicion of exposing himself to a female hotel employee.
He gave us one of the greatest mug shots in sports history, but the case was dropped.
Other than saying it’s amusing, I have no words for this picture.
Josh Booty
In February 2008, Josh Booty, a sportscaster and brother of USC quarterback John David Booty, was taken into custody in Orange County on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Booty became uncooperative with police after being arrested, and as a result, he was tasered.
I sincerely hope they avoided giving him an eye-taser.
Mike Tyson
You had to expect Iron Mike to be on this list, right?
One of the funniest and creepiest pictures I’ve ever seen is this one.
Mike Tyson, a former heavyweight boxing champion, was taken into custody in December 2006 outside of an Arizona nightclub on suspicion of driving under the influence and possessing cocaine.
Tyson likely used some cocaine before taking this picture.
Laurence Maroney
Laurence Maroney, congrats on your latest mug shot placing you in the top 10.
Maroney was taken into custody on Monday night for allegedly having a gun and high on narcotics. According to reports, Maroney’s attorney argued that Maroney was authorized to carry a firearm.
Maroney, though, lacked permission to adopt Goldilocks’ appearance.
Lex Luger
The best of the best is about to arrive.
Folks, this is what happens when you take steroids.
When police discovered illicit bodybuilding drugs at wrestler Lex Luger’s home in May 2003 while looking into the death of his lover Elizabeth Hulette, Luger was taken into custody in Cobb County, Georgia.
Luger was caught for illegal narcotics for the second time in two weeks.
People, try not to stare at him too much otherwise you might suffer nightmares.
Dan McLaughlin
In August 2010, Dan McLaughlin, a sportscaster for the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues, was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
However, based on the image above, you were already aware of the fee, weren’t you?
Kirby Puckett
Baseball Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett was accused of groping a lady after pulling into the restroom of a nearby restaurant in October 2002, leading to charges of sexual assault and false detention in Minnesota.
I can’t express how I feel about this picture.

Robert Barker, a Florida youth football coach, was detained and charged with domestic assault with a handgun after his stepson objected to doing sprints in the intense heat.
Barker allegedly gave his teenage stepson a motivational BB gunshot.
I believe it’s safe to say the stepson was correct to not want to run in that weather based on his mugshot.

I apologize; wearing a medical mask contradicts mugshots everywhere.
Ted Williams has had his fair share of run-ins with the law. He is a homeless man from Ohio who was just taken off the streets and offered broadcasting jobs after being caught producing radio broadcast mock-ups.
