Format of the Blast R6 Major Manchester Event:
Get ready for a thrilling format at the Blast R6 Major Manchester, where the competition will be divided into three intense phases:
Phase 1 – Group Stage:
A double-bracket format will pit eight teams against one another. The remaining players will go to the loser bracket, leaving only four to advance to Phase 2. The format used to decide matches will be best-of-3 (Bo3).
Phase 2 – Swiss Stage:
In this phase, the eight immediately qualified teams will be joined by the four teams that placed first in Phase 1. Teams will be able to lose a set number of times before being eliminated in a Swiss-style tournament. Elimination matchups will be best-of-3, while regular games will be best-of-1. Out of the twelve teams, only eight will advance to the next round.
Phase 3 – Playoffs:
The final phase will see the remaining teams battle for the championship. The quarter-finals and semifinals will be best-of-3 games, while the grand finale will be a thrilling best-of-5 showdown.
