Cricket player Karn Vinod Sharma was born in India on October 23, 1987. He resides in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut. Karan participates on the Railways cricket team as an all-rounder. He bowls leg breaks and bats left-handed. Karan played his first Twenty20 match against England in 2014. On November 13, 2014, he played in his first One Day International for India against Sri Lanka. On December 9, 2014, in Adelaide, he played in his first Test match against Australia.

In the 2007–2008 Ranji season, he played as a specialist batsman against Jammu and Kashmir at Karnail Singh Stadium, making his first-class debut. He hit 17 boundaries in his 120 off 232 balls, helping the Railways cricket team win by an innings and 88 runs.

Karan played his maiden game of first-class cricket on February 17, 2022, against the Vidarbha team. List A debut
