EURO 2024, also known as the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship, will be the 17th edition of UEFA’s main international men’s football competition in Europe. Germany, the three-time winner, will host the competition, which promised thrills and enthusiasm among fans worldwide.

When is Euro 2024?
The event is scheduled to run from June 14 until July 14, 2024. The group stage goes till June 26, with the knockout stage beginning on June 29.

- 14 June 2024: EURO 2024 opening match: Germany vs Scotland, Munich Football Arena

Euro 2024 Venue:
Germany won the bid to host EURO 2024, with Turkey being the only other bidder. This is Germany’s first hosting of the UEFA European Championship since reunification. The finals will be held in the Olympiastadion in Berlin, while the tournament’s initial match will be played at the Munich Football Arena.
Ten venues have been chosen, nine of which competed in the 2006 FIFA World Cup, with the addition of the Dusseldorf Arena. The host country met UEFA’s strict criteria, including stadiums with capacities which met particular requirements.

Euro 2024 Qualified Teams:
The competition features 53 countries organized into ten groups, with seven groups of five teams and three groups of six. The winners and runners-up from each group will advance to the finals, with the remaining places determined by playoffs involving 12 teams. The qualification process is based on results from the 2022/23 Nations League.
