Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have been involved in a huge feud for several months now. This all started at Royal Rumble 2024, when, after taking a Future Shock DDT from the Scottish Warrior, Punk’s right arm got injured. McIntyre is always taking a dig at CM Punk and recently he mocked the Chicago native again by posting a picture of gymnast Simone Biles with the medals she won at the Paris Olympics 2024. In the picture, Biles is seen holding her three gold medals and one silver medal. Drew wrote in the caption, “Me if f*****g with CM Punk was an Olympic sport.”
Wrestling fans react to Drew’s tweet
WWE fans are really enjoying the storyline between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior’s latest tweet has received some hilarious replies from the WWE fans. One fan wrote, “Drew on Twitter cooking Punk with banger tweet after banger tweet.”
Another user, while talking about Punk’s negative impact on McIntyre’s career, wrote, “He cost you the world title at WrestleMania, stopped you from winning the world title in your own country and messed up your Money in the Bank cash in, I’d say it’s even.”
One of the fans lauded McIntyre and his latest tweet by stating that he is the GOAT and also calling him the troll king of wrestler twitter. The buildup between the two before their Summerslam clash was quite strenuous. Even though the two are not fighting for a title, the feud has become fan favorite.
The rivalry between CM Punk and McIntyre is not over
After months of buildup, two finally faced each other at the Biggest party of Summer, with Seth Rollins being the guest referee of their match. The fight was definitely one of the best of the night and lived up to the expectations.

McIntyre showed how much he hates the Second City saint by torturing him throughout the match and eventually taking shots at his wife, AJ Lee and dog, eventually stealing his bracelet. On the other hand, it was CM Punk’s first match in WWE in ten years. The Scottish Warrior’s recent post suggests that the feud between him and Punk will continue even after the PLE. Also, on the Raw’s episode this week, Punk threw Drew out of the arena. Fans will be wanting to see a Hell in a Cell match between the two that could happen at Bad Blood next month.
