Dillon Danis is known for his trash talking and constantly being involved in controversies. Now he has once again done something like this by posting a screenshot of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Instagram DM. The photo showed that the former UFC champion sent a fire emoji to a picture of an alleged Instagram model. However, soon it was revealed that the screenshot is fake as the photo posted by Danis was photoshopped. He did this to tarnish Khabib’s reputation and this did not go well with MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz.
Abdelaziz took X and responded to Danis’ post by writing, “You don’t learn your lesson. I’ll see you soon.” Dillon seemed unfazed by this comment and reposted the tweet saying, “Gonna have some friends hijack some more planes and fly them into my apartment?”
The rivalry between Dillon and Khabib dates back to 2018
Actually, Dillon Danis captioned “Haram” below the photoshopped screenshot he uploaded. It was a dig at Khabib’s religion, Islam, which enraged Ali Abdelaziz. The rivalry between Dillon and Khabib dates back to UFC 229. Dillon is Conor McGregor’s ally and was among those who initiated the free-for-all brawl following the main event of UFC 229. After the match, Khabib stormed out of the Octagon and attacked Danis while both team members were engaged in a scuffle. Since then, the rift between Team McGregor and Khabib has continued.
Khabib is embroiled in a new controversy
Meanwhile, Khabib is also embroiled in controversy at the moment. Recently, “The Eagle” appeared on the Inspire Me podcast, where he was asked about his rivalry with Tony Ferguson. While the matchup between the two sounded quite exciting, the bout never happened despite the two being booked five times. Hence, the MMA community still asks questions about who would have won if the two had ever clashed.

Responding to this question, Khabib said that he would have easily won the fight against Ferguson. “The Eagle” further claimed that it would have been difficult for “El Cucuy” to match up with Khabib because of his lack of wrestling skills. Khabib also said that the only chance Ferguson would have had for victory was a “lucky punch.” Angered by the statement, Tony immediately responded with a scathing attack on the Dagestani fighter. While the mocking between the two has once again started, it is impossible to see two inside the UFC octagon together.
