LeBron James scored 37 points in the LA Lakers’ 105-104 win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday. His primary defender was Dillon Brooks, who played well for the Rockets. However, now he is being trolled on X for his comments from last season’s playoffs. James finished the game with 37 points, including eight assists, six rebounds and three steals. He even scored the game-winning point with 1.9 seconds left in the game.
Brooks trolled for his past comments

A page on social media shared Brooks’ comment last postseason and trolled him by writing, “We were three points away from a generational receipt”. The 27-year-old was made the scapegoat last season during the Memphis Grizzlies’ playoff series against the LA Lakers. James and the Lakers gave the Grizzlies a lesson in humility and swept them out in six games. Brooks was then ruled out of free agency, but the Houston Rockets still signed him to a four-year, $86 million deal. He was looking forward to a big stint with Canada at the 2023 FIBA World Cup. He helped his country win the bronze by defeating Team USA in the game for third place.
James led Lakers to a great victory

Since 2018, James has been called for a technical foul only six times. Thanks to Dillon’s pesky approach to defense, James finally got his seventh opportunity as a Laker player and his first of the season. He was caught by the Akron Hammer after giving him an extra hit after a whistle. James didn’t like it, so he pushed Brooks in the chest. Which was called for a technical foul.
The L-Train is the most durable player

The Lakers star regained his composure to keep his team in the game. He came forward, scoring points and leading the Lakers to another win. It was his second consecutive game of scoring at least 35 points. Before this game, James smashed 35 points in the game against the Portland Blazers. If the Lakers want to be a contender for the championship, they need to find a way to win games with James at full strength. He is the most durable player in NBA history at the age of 38 (just two months away from his 39th birthday).
